The Kinetronics ASC cloth consists of highly conductive antistatic fabric. It is highly suitable for cleaning film strips, electronic printed circuit boards, CDs as well as monitor screens and scanner window glass and much more. The special mixed fabric of the cloth consists of two different fibres. The conductive part in the fabric reliably discharges the electric charged particles, and the ultrasoft microfibres gently remove all kinds of dust and dirt.
Unlike many competitors, Kinetronics has deliberately dispensed with any form of soaking the cloth in conductive fluids or impregnation. Where tinctures cannot evaporate, nothing can dry out. This means that the discharging effect of the cloth remains constant throughout its whole service life. The ASC is therefore particularly useful in the field of the production of electronic printed circuit boards. A test by an independent institute showed that the Kinetronics ASC cloth had resistance values significantly lower than those of its competitors.

These measurements were made on December 22, 1998 on a random selection of anti-static cloths using an ACL-386 resistance meter. This meter measures surface resistance in ohms according to ESD Association Standard S-11.11. The readings obtained with the ACL-386 correlate directly with measurements made in accordance with Standard S-11.11 using a defined concentric precision ring fixture. The measurements made with the ACL-386 do not follow the procedure described in Standard S-11.11, but the data obtained correlate with the values according to this standard. The measuring instrument used was calibrated, calibrated, and certified on December 16, 1998. Due to the uneven saturation of these anti-static wipes, deviations in test data may occur.
